The 86th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

We’re open all ten days. Hours extended, kitchen running late, the bar fully stocked — live music nightly, bull riding three nights, and the bull’s always hot. We’ve been on this corner for 25 rallies. We know how it goes.

The Legend of Sturgis

Historic Sturgis motorcycle racing

Every August, the quiet town of Sturgis, South Dakota becomes the center of the motorcycle world. What started in 1938 as a small race organized by local Indian Motorcycle dealer Pappy Hoel — the Black Hills Classic — has grown into the largest motorcycle rally on the planet.

For ten days, riders from across the country and around the world roll into the Black Hills to celebrate the freedom of the open road. Legendary rides, roaring engines, live music, racing, and unforgettable nights have made Sturgis a tradition that spans generations.

Today, hundreds of thousands of riders make the journey every year to experience the roads, the people, and the spirit that makes Sturgis unlike anywhere else on earth.

  • Over 85 years of motorcycle tradition
